Guess I better start checking in. Somehow over the last month I've gained 4 lbs!!! I think with all the stress I've been careless about water and vegetables. Any way I need to get back on track so hopefully reporting will help me. G'ma

Reporting in

I have done much better again this week. I didn't actually meet my goal, but I came close. I exercised four days instead of the five I was shooting for, but that is three times more than normal. I have been drinking a lot more water again. It always amazes me how much that helps. I will work towards five days again this week. Thanks for giving me a place to report.

My Report

Over the last couple months I have been making efforts at exercising more and doing better on my eating. Even though I haven't had huge amounts of pounds come off, I still feel like I have made improvements. I'm still inconsistent with doing big workouts, but have made a lot of progress in adding a lot of extra movement into my day - like walking Alia to Preschool and back instead of driving her in the car, and going on a walk for 10 minutes if that is all that I have, instead of not going because I only have 10 minutes. I'm hoping that all the little things will add up.

When I weighed myself this morning I was down a little more than 3 pounds from the last time I weight in a couple weeks ago. At least it is something! I'm hoping to lose another 5-7 pounds by the end of the month. Wish me luck!

Truth

It is usally true that when we don't write it is because we are not working. I have not been doing so well. My only exercise has really been walking Allie to and from pre-school on Thursdays. I have continued to try to be more active, but not often or long enough. I got some 15 minute workouts from a McDonald's booth at UEA yesterday and am determined to do those at least 5 times a week. Today is day 1. I did the cardio workout today. I have also been trying to drink better again - no, not the hard stuff just water. It is amazing how much better that makes me feel and yet how hard it can be. I have stayed at my 15 pound loss but hope to pick that up soon. Thanks for caring and sharing!

I'll tell you where I am

I am lazy and have stopped working out or trying to eat right. That's where I am and why I haven't posted. It's so hard to find motivation!
